MARINET campaigns to protect the marine environment around the coast of the UK.

It is part of Friends of the Earth (FOE) and its membership is open not only to FOE Local Groups, but also to individuals and non-FOE organisations.

MARINET is a voluntary network run by people like you, and its aim is to help its members to act co-operatively so that they can assist one another with their interests and concerns.

From a wider perspective, MARINET works to protect the marine and coastal environment through education, persuasion and campaigning. These issues, which vary over time, are identified by the membership.

Some of these issues are reported on more fully on this website. However, this is not an exhaustive list of MARINET's work. If you wish to support MARINET financially, or to become an active member, then please go to the membership page for further details.
