The anniversaries of the four major east coast floods all coincide in late January to early February. The spreading waters of 1938, the horrors of 1953, the inundation of King’s Lynn in 1978 and problems all along the Norfolk coast in 1983 are all being recalled in photographs, archive films and the reminiscences of those who experienced these disasters.
