Norfolk Coast erosion film

Following his coverage of the Suffolk coastline, aerial photographer Mike Page has just produced two great new films of the Norfolk coastline at low tide that clearly portray the vulnerable spots and weak points in the defences, as well as showing the effectiveness of groynes where they still exist. Mike has just yesterday placed both of these on U-Tube.

The first takes us from Great Yarmouth outer harbour flying north to Winterton, taking in the edge of Gorleston, Great Yarmouth Harbour, Great Yarmouth, Caister, California, Scratby, Newport, and Hemsby Gap right up to Winterton-on-Sea. This can be seen by going to www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ss1Ns29zDD8

The second takes us from Winterton right up to Happisburgh, taking in Winterton Ness, Horsey, Waxham, Sea Palling, Eccles, Cart Gap and Ostend, Happisburgh, almost to Walcott. This can be seen at www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSlt8qsPGR4
