David Levy – When Will It Ever Change? – Mar 21
This morning I watched the Vaccines Minister field an early morning run in with Piers Morgan of Good Morning Britain and was once again filled with despondency when he could not answer a simple question or supply a statement of regret which Piers was looking for. Piers failed to get this statement, despite repeated attempts to do so.
Yet again another politician who could not say, “Sorry, we got it wrong”.
I find people to be very understanding when shown humility and they are capable of a largesse of forgiveness in the face of the complexity of a pandemic that is outside anyone’s experience. What is not forgiven is the blanket denial of accountability and failure to respond directly to a simple question which equally requires a simple response.
That is just seen as arrogance when there is such a record of death in care homes, in our population proportionately, and in our preparation for a pandemic.
This is a strategy that should clearly backfire on them.
As Prince Charles says, “These characters”.
Yes, these characters are the same we are reliant upon to deliver policies and a future strategy for society on sustainability and on a good work and home life experience.
Marinet once again reaches out to these characters to research and resolve satisfactorily the handling of human and animal sewage, and to no longer to contaminate our rivers and seas as we have shown to be happening in our submissions to the Environmental Audit Committee in the House of Commons.
From what I have seen to date, I hold out little hope of them ever doing a proper job.
