New ‘Marine Climate Change Impacts Partnership’ document

Paul Buckley of the Marine Climate Change Impacts Partnership (MCCIP) and Secretariat of CEFAS, Pakefield Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk, NR33 0HT, UK, has sent us news of a new document for the Climate Smart Working programme that draws together examples of adaptation to Climate Change, ranging from the global to local scale, intended to help share best practice amongst the marine and coastal stakeholder community.

The aim of this document is to provide a regularly updated overview of key pieces of adaptation work relevant to marine and coastal stakeholders. Whilst some of the examples cited are not specifically about marine or coastal issues, they nevertheless provide useful guidance for marine and coastal stakeholders looking for advice on “where to start” with adaptation.

To access it first go to www.mccip.org.uk/adaptation and on from there.
